The cabin sleeps up to 8 guests across two bedrooms and a private loft, with 2.5 bathrooms. Total guests on the property, including daytime visitors, may not exceed 10 without prior written approval.
Check-in is after 4:00 PM ET and check-out is by 11:00 AM ET. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and prior approval, and may incur a fee.
Smoky Mountain Lookout is in the Shagbark Community, a gated neighborhood in Sevierville, Tennessee, about 20 minutes from the Pigeon Forge Parkway. We share the general area on this site and provide the exact address after booking.
No pets are permitted, with the exception of service animals as required by law (please notify us in advance). Bringing an unauthorized pet incurs a $250 cleaning fee.
Yes — the cabin has AT&T Fiber internet. Cell service is very limited on the property itself, so Wi-Fi calling is recommended once you're connected.
The hot tub is available at your own risk and is not lifeguarded or supervised. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, and guests should not use it while intoxicated. Anyone pregnant, elderly, or with a heart condition or high blood pressure should consult a physician first.
Parking is limited to 3 vehicles at the cabin. Additional vehicles, trailers, and RVs must use the pool parking lot at the bottom of the hill, as space allows — RVs and trailers are not permitted at the cabin itself.
The final approach is steep, narrow, and winding, and can be slippery in snow, rain, or ice, though all roads and driveways are paved. Cell service becomes very limited near the property, so download directions before you head up.
Cancellations at least 14 days before check-in receive a full refund. Cancellations at least 7 days before check-in receive a 50% refund (minus the service fee). Cancellations within 7 days of check-in are not refundable.

The cabin has two bedrooms, a private family loft, and 6 beds in total. A full-size futon in the game and theater room provides an additional flexible sleeping space within the cabin's maximum occupancy of 8 guests.
Yes. Family amenities include a private family loft, travel crib, convertible high chair, baby safety gates, children's dishes, books, toys, games, bunk beds, and access to a community playground.
The full kitchen includes a refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, coffee maker, kettle, ice maker, toaster, cookware, dishes, utensils, a dining table, and barbecue utensils.
Yes. Guests have access to the Shagbark Community's seasonal communal outdoor pool and poolside lounge area. The pool is separate from the cabin; the hot tub at the cabin is private.
The game and theater room includes a pool table, foosball table, retro arcade, video games, reclining theater seating, a 75-inch Smart TV, board games, books, and a full-size futon.
The primary guest must be at least 25 years old, stay at the property throughout the reservation, and accept responsibility for the conduct of all guests and visitors.
Smoking and vaping are not allowed indoors. Outdoor smoking is permitted with proper disposal. Indoor violations incur a $250 cleaning and deodorizing fee.
No. Parties, gatherings, and events beyond the registered overnight guests are not allowed. Total persons at the property may not exceed 10 without prior written approval from the host.
Yes. Actively recording exterior cameras face the parking areas and main entrance. No cameras face the interior, rear decks, or any private area.
A $59 Property Damage Protection plan is required at booking instead of a refundable cash deposit. It covers up to $1,500 in qualifying accidental damage; exclusions apply for intentional damage, gross negligence, theft, unauthorized guests or pets, and smoking violations.
